PAG Bible Schools

The In Service Bible Course is ongoing in Kumi run by the PAG South Pastorate.

The course aims to equip lay Pastors and Church Leaders with basic theological training to enable them to better meet the needs of the community, to increase their confidence and decision making skills and to increase the number of trained church counsellors.

This is often the only training they receive. The course is comprised of 18 modules and usually runs over 1 weekend a month for 9 months with one module being covered on the Saturday and one on the Sunday.

It is designed like this to cause minimal disruption to family life and other responsibilities. There are 12 training centres across the pastorate. Feedback from the students has been enourmously encouraging and 128 Pastors completed the programme in 2024.
