Just Giving is convenient and immediate and can be used for one-off or regular giving.
We also accept donations for projects through bank transfer, standing order, or simply by cheque to our administrator. If you aim to give regularly we would recommend bank transfer by standing order which means neither we nor you face any charges for the donation. Our Supporter Response Form which you can print off and complete, gives you all the details you need for banks transfers, standing orders and gift aid.
Fundraising for Teso Development Trust
As for many charities, support fundraising for our projects can be very important. many a school or hospital project has been funded by numerous small activities, in churches, halls or private homes, or by feats of endurance or daring, all sponsored to support a project that is near to the fundraisers heart.
As a registered charity most online fundraising platforms will be able to support donations to Teso Development Trust and we are registered with Just Giving for fundraising.
Your Legacy in Teso
If you have been a supporter of the Teso Development Trust you already will have a strong legacy in the Teso Region of Uganda through the work that has been undertaken with your support. You may have helped sink a well, helped someone start a business, provided a lifechanging operation or given vital education.
If you leave a gift in your will however, your impact on Teso will continue as you give TDT the power to change yet more lives in this needy area of the Africa, that you have shown such care for in the past.
The link below will give you more information on how to include a gift to TDT in your will. We recommend you involve a solicitor who will be able to advise you on the best way to record your intentions.
Existing wills can be simply amended by the addition of a codicil. The link below gives a suggested wording for such a codicil, though again we recommend involving a solicitor to best ensure the legacy you intend.
We would be very grateful if you could let us know that you are planning to leave a gift to TDT in your will. This will enable us to recognise your kindness appropriately and to make sure that you remain full engaged in the activities of the Trust and our plans for the future.
