Water Projects Central Teso

3 water projects have been completed with PAG Central so far in 2026 providing water for an estimated 586 people and another 3 are in progress. Around 20% of TDT’s annual project expenditure is on water projects. The benefits of water projects are immediately obvious in reduction in disease levels, time saved and the protection of women and girls who aren’t put at risk walking long distances from their communities in search of water. However the provision of safe, easily accessible water is also an essential basis for farming and agriculture projects as the readily available water allows the cultivation of vegetable gardens, provides water for livestock as well as people and gives the free time needed to properly invest in farming and business activit
